The 2v1 fight can be tedious and it takes forever to farm this damn thing. Probably the hardest to farm weapon in the game, I think it took me longer than collecting the 50 souls for eleum loyce and the 30 sunlight medals for the sun sword combined, ugh. Personally I went with a dark orb setup, worked pretty decently.

Especially considering the non respawning enemy system. Even using personnal saves, obtaining this sword is such a drudgery, and is the opposite of fun. DS1 loot system was better balanced. TBH, in DS2 I spend most time copy-pasting my personnal saves than playing the game, because there is so many items that need an incredible luck to drop.
