Online Multiplayer needs improvement. Teen, 15 years old Written by Drewski16 October 22, Great Game! I think that this is a great game overall, Now it does involve Violence, Blood, and Swearing but guess what they actually have a filter for the language and the blood so I guess I would just say that if you don't mind your kid playing shooter games than this is just fine but maybe wait till they are about !!
Teen, 13 years old Written by spencergronk October 18, Good Shooting Game This game is great for kids who want a shooting game. It does contain blood and gore but it doesn't go overboard. Along with some smoking. Teen, 13 years old Written by GamingGamerMovi September 5, It brings back many features while introducing some new ones. This review takes place near the end of the support of this game, so if you are planning on picking it up now there may not be a lot of new content.
Campaign: The game is set during the Cold War in the early s. The story is actually great, with the ability to create your own character and choose options that will impact the story. There are many twists and turns in the story, which makes things more exciting. You see both new and returning characters. Multiplayer: Call of Duty has always been about the multiplayer, fast-paced action, tons of levels and challenges to earn, as well as a plethora of guns and maps to play through.
I had a lot of fun playing the different modes with friends, and trying to unlock rewards. Unfortunately, the game can get repetitive after a while and it doesn't really introduce anything new to the franchise.
Zombies: The Black Ops series is known for its wave-based zombies mode. In my opinion, Black Ops Cold War delivers the best zombies in a long time.
There are different maps to play through, all featuring different enemy types, storyline, and gameplay. One of these modes even features an open world, where you can drive cars or deploy a parachute. It's a great experience that's even better with friends. With that being said, there is still a good amount of language present in all three modes. If you are playing online, there is also an option to mute the other players.
Luckily, there is no sex or nudity within this game. Overall, this game isn't a bad purchase but you also have to keep in mind that a new Call of Duty game is coming out very soon. Teen, 13 years old Written by do gooder August 29, It is all good for 12 and up I think that the game may come a bit scary on the campaign like all the other COD games, but once you've played it for an hour or so you wouldve gotten used to it.
Teen, 14 years old Written by Pixel Face July 13, Not the worst COD released Not much gore or blood in multiplayer or campaign.
Language is iffy for younger kids, but you can also turn that off. Zombies aren't that bad, but may scare younger audiences. You will be ok for Multiplayer on the condition all players are muted at all times! Defiantly don't play the Campaign mode and Zombies is border line. Use headphones. DJ piNoy Active Member. Joined: May 6, Messages: Likes Received: I definitely remember right in the beginning of most CoD games that there will be an option to turn off graphic content in Campaign mode.
I cannot say for this one yet because I have yet to get it. I plan on getting it on Black Friday when everything is cheaper. Joined: Nov 16, Messages: 3 Likes Received: 0.

If I was in the OP's shoes, I would call gamestop, tell them that your parents will buy the game if theres an option to censor the language, tell the guy please lie to mom, then tell mom that there is a censor option, then go get the game and open it quickly so she cant take it back since it's unopened.
Then its up to you to make sure you keep the game to a low level so she can't hear it!! There will be no meat splatter if the player shoots a person but only a small cloud of blood. Blood and gore is still present in " Blood and Iron ", as it is a vehicle level.
In Zombies , it is still possible to decapitate a zombie, but there is no blood or meat chunk splatter. It is still possible to create crawlers, however their legs will stay connected to their bodies and will drag behind them as they move. Split Screen is completely unaffected, and online is reduced to less common than split screen. Cursing is also very limited, and usually swear words such as "fuck" are replaced with less profane versions, such as "damn".
Some words are even completely taken out. The filter's main purpose is to disallow the playing of the mission No Russian as well as some minor changes in the conversations in the game.
Due to the fact that most graphic content is off by default in multiplayer enemies explode in money rather than blood when hit, no gibbing , little is changed outside of the campaign.
This filter will not affect any achievement or stats by completing the mission, as the mission itself is optional and it does not count towards singleplayer completion. In this game, blood and gore are completely removed from all offline interactions and multiplayer.
In pre-rendered cutscenes, the curse filter for subtitles is enabled by default, regardless if the content filter is enabled or not. In Zombies mode, when playing solo, there is no blood from damaging zombies and no gore whatsoever. The opening cutscene and the outro in Call of the Dead are not edited, however. Note that blood is not caused by weapons like the knife or M The filter's purpose in this game is very similar to Modern Warfare 2 's variant of the system, albeit in a smaller scale.
